JFK Terminal 5

Information Terminal 5 - Jet Blue Terminal

Terminal 5 operates with various airlines but JetBlue Airways is the major one. (Some international flights from Jet Blue arrive at Terminal 4).

The terminal 5 sits behind the preserved Eero Saarinen-designed terminal originally known as the “TWA Flight Center”. Now this center is connected to T5 via a walkway but is considered part of the Terminal. But nevertheless, the Saarinen building is currently closed for refurbishment and it will reopen again in 2019 as a hotel.

Location: Check the terminal map at terminals page to get an overview of the terminal location.

Transportation between terminals

By the AirTrain system is fairly easy to transfer between terminals at John F. Kennedy Airport, since all airport terminals are connected to its network. Trains frequency is of 2 – 5 minutes.

In order to take the AirTrain at any of the airport terminals, you’ll first need to go through security. Within JFK Airport Terminals the AirTrain system is free. Opening hours: 24 hours.
